Storage, both of the raw and of the fired product, allows to separate the production of glazing and finishing lines (lapping, squaring and/or sorting) from the production of the kiln, ensuring continuity and efficiency in production.
The storage system therefore works as a buffer to allow the kiln to always work with a full load of material.
Depending on the state of the product, raw or fired, different technologies and solutions are adopted.
The raw product is mainly stored in roller boxes, which allow a more delicate treatment of the tiles.
For the fired product, roller boxes or stacking systems on metal platforms can be used.
